Hi,

Why are you so sure that you have a virus? wuauclt.exe is a Windows Updater process: wuauclt.exe Is your wuauclt.exe located in the folder C:\Windows\System32? Then it is a genuine one.

I'm pretty sure mine is a virus. i'm used to see one or two coppies of wuauclt.exe running on my task manager. in my research on this issue, i found out that this program is a microsoft program monitoring for updates. However, i currently have 37 coppies running in the background, and have seen many people saying it is something called a 'Trojan B'. i'm not sure what that means, except that it is a Trojan. any help would be much appreciated.

TDL3 is a Rootkit. Are you have any redirects or anything, Brevard?. Also, what OS are you running?.. Windows XP, Vista, etc.
