Hi there im really desperate for some help with some problems im having on my computer. Ever since i upgraded to windows xp and aol 9 broadband my computer has been experiencing some really strange sympthoms which are the start menu folder opens on its own, the cursor moves around the screen manically on its own for about 30 seconds, the aol exit dialogue box appears and asks you if you would like to sign off or stay online, and the computer freezes too.

Please note that i have run lots of anti virus software programes including AVG, MCFEE, DR WEB which all found nothing and i have also scanned my computer with anti spyware products like EWIDO, SPYDOCTOR, ADAWARE etc and so i would be grateful for any help or advice anyone can give me??

Many thanks

It sounds like a bad mouse driver. I would start by checking Device Manager.
