is this a virus or a hoax or sumthing?????????

Martin,
it seems that you have been exploited in some way...
follow my advice outlined below and it will help.1) update you antivirus software and run a full scan of your system.
if you do not have a antivirus program... go to Grisoft.Com and download this very good free anti virus program.100% detection rate of AVG Anti-Virus System is continuously certified by independent ICSA laboratories
2) use a software firewall... if you don't have one.. download the free version of Zonealarm from:
Zone Labs.comThe award-winning personal firewall automatically blocks dangerous Internet threats - known and unknown - guarding your PC from hackers and data thieves. ZoneAlarm provides the basic protection individuals need to secure their PC and keep their valuable information private.
this will prevent anyone from accessing your computer.
3) go to AD-Aware or Ad-Aware and download their free program called ad-aware 5.81.
this will remove any spy-ware that is on your system.Ad-aware is a free multi spyware removal utility that scans your memory, registry and hard drives for known spyware and scumware components and lets you remove them safely. It is updated frequently.
4) go to: SurfinGuard Pro
and down load SurfinGuardŽ Pro 5.7 - Beta.
SurfinGuardŽ Pro protects PC users from new, unknown Internet threats by monitoring and containing the behavior of downloaded progams and active content. SurfinGuard Pro runs active content (e.g., executables, ActiveX, scripts, Windows scripting files and Java) in a protected "sandbox" called the Safe Zone that automatically blocks potentially hostile actions.5) go to Swat-it
download a program called Swat-it. It will remove trojans and bots.Swat It is a Completely FREE program that scans your files for Trojans, Worms, Bots and other Hacker programs. Swat It can detect and remove over 3000 different Trojan programs plus variants.
6) go to: TDS download TDS Ver 3.21. It is a trial for a Trojan finder and removal tool.
The worlds most comprehensive anti-trojan system just got even better!
There are several anti-trojan systems in existance, but none can even be compared to TDS.Tank863

I read something on this site about a 'malicious script' changing the homepage to a porno site homepage.
Try clicking - TOOLS - INTERNET OPTIONS - GENERAL - USE DEFAULT. This should change the homepage back to the default page (normally your ISP's homepage). That may not be your problem but read on -Also do a free virus scan by downloading the program and selecting the option 'scan all files' or 'scan my PC' from the option box that is displayed when the prog has loaded, I can't remember the exact wording but select the scan everything option. Get the prog from...
http://housecall.antivirus.com/
don't mess with the PC while the download and scan is working.
You can also get the free 30 day trial of Trojan Hunter from www.wilders.org Up-date the file definitions before you use it in case your bug is a newly discovered one. Again scan all files with this one.You can also download the free Ad-aware program from www.lavasoft.com. This one allows you to delete bugs put on your PC for adverts and stuff, your bug may fall into this catagory.
Lastly when you are free from the problem you can download the free program Zonealam from www.zonelabs.com This last one is a firewall and stops people from accessing your PC via the net (it restricts data transmission, and blocks transmission of your choice).
I have needed all the above except Trojan Hunter. I'm sure a time will come when this one will also save the day for me.
Other people here will come to the rescue, but the above can be tried while you wait.
I think the addresses are correct.

Use a trojan program TDS, Tauscan, Trojan finder all available at WILDERS.ORG. to find the trojan that has ben installed on your computer. Change all your passwords, all passwords! A free one is SWATIT from LOCKDOWN CORP. Then get a firewall; Sygate, Kerio, Zone Alarm, Outpost also available at Wilders. Then get an antivirus program AVG 6.0 is free. Norton 2002 and NOD32 are the two best certified ones. Disable your preview pane if you are using Outlook/Outlook Express, better yet use Hotmail, Yahoo or any third party email server that screens your email for nasties. All the best!

hey thank you all!!! i downlaoded all the stuff and there was nouthing on my computer so i wonder what it
thanks for all the info everyone
