Comment:
I am having a problem with IE, IEXPLORE.exe is using 100% CPU on my machine. I have searched for IEXPLORE.exe files and found one in C:/Windows/Prefetch folder and deleted it, but it came back after restart. Any advise? Also my Windows firewall keeps disabling after restart? Any help much appreciated

You could start by downloading Stinger and running it. What spyware progs and online scans have you done? Also what are you using for your AV and firewall?
Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

Are you also immunizing your PC with Spybot S&D? Spybot is also a great addition as well as Adaware SE The best online scans from what I've seen are: Housecall Kaspersky Ewido Panda
A few good cleaners to use before your scans are ATF-Cleaner and CrapCleaner, they will flush your caches, cookies etc and it really speeds up your scans.
If your problem keeps recurring, then you may want to disable System restore, scan, then, if all is well restart system restore again.
Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks
