Hi,
In the IE internet options, choose Security, then choose Customs Level for internet, at the bottom, in the User Authentication, Logon, there are four choices.
1. I just find out that my setting is "Automatic logon only in Intranet zone". What is this mean? Is this mean that anyone in the intranet zone can automatically logon to my computer and access all my files in my computer?
2. Is the "Automatic logon only in Intranet zone" the default setting? Since I never notice this one and never change any settings because I don't know what to choose. I want to know if this is the default setting or if someone else changed the setting.
3. Which one Should I choice? "Prompt username and password"?

Click on it and press F1.
Basically, it's asking what it should do when you go to a website server that asks for authentication (your username and password). Thus, if you go to a system on your intranet (university, work, etc...but you have to move them from internet zone to intranet zone), the computer will automatically log you on. You can change the settings, but then you might be annoyed at having to type your username and password each time....
cliff notes: It asks if you want the computer to authenticate you to a remote server, or if you want to type your username and password yourself
