I opened this morning an email with the following subject: Internet Explorer,and it has an attachment with the following description:
_IMVTemp_Show_URL1 it's a 87 KB file MS-DOS Batch File
After I did this stupidity;My Norton AV became unabled, I can't open my Quickbooks,
When I try to open Norton Antivirus I can't
What do I do????/////

Try running an online virus scan at either Panda or
House Call to identify your
virus, sometimes they can clean it too, if not post back with the info

Why would you download ANY attachment that comes in your e-mail? IE would NEVER send you an e-mail with an attachment, they would send you a link to their website saying that there is an update currently available.

Don't dwnload attachments unless you know the person, and even then be cautious of what it is. Some free e-mail services like Yahoo! use a virus scanner for attachments so you can check for virii before you download the file or executable.

Be careful out there and good luck getting rid of that virus/worm...
