Tonight when I click on the back button on computing.net (like after I have read a post and want to go back to the list of threads) I have to click "back" twice. The first time, it says "http://hidden-referrer/eyeblaster/addineye.html" and just stays on the same page. Then when I click back again, it goes back. When I hover the mouse over the back button that shows up also, and in the lower left corner of the browser window.
This is not happening on any other sites, only computing.net.

Suzi, I think it is a counter provided by this outfit: http://www.eyeblaster.com/WebSite/Eyeblasters_formats.htm I've been noticing that the page loading has been a bit slower lately due to the ads loading. Apparently Computing.net has a new ad server. Why you have to hit back twice might be related. Just a guess shep

That happened to me the past few days. It's been happening elsewhere too, places I go to that have ads at the top of the page. The ad boxes were coming up as 404 errors.
