Has anyone heard of AntiVira?

Specs: Windows 7
It appears to be a mock virus protection on my laptop and every time I try to navigate my browser anywhere but their website, it declares the site not secure. Reliable things like yahoo and wikipedia just leave me with a warning page? What should I do?

If its a bogus anti-virus, download, install and update MalwareBytes freebie. It is usually good at these.

Download Malwarebytes
Install and update
Reboot into safe mode (Press f8 during boot)
Run in safe mode, and clear the malware it finds after the scan.

yea we have heard of AntiVira AV virus and also have been dealing with it. AntiVia AV virus is a fake program that offers virus removal services (that it dose not perform in real).
To get rid of AntiVira AV virus, you should run an anti malware program, i.e Malware Bytes, Spyware Doctor, Super Anti Spyware.
You may also be intrested in removing Antivira va virus manually, see the manual removal steps to get rid of antivira av virus
