Hard Disk Cannot Be Detected

Specs: Windows XP
Hello everyone..

I really need the solution for this problem urgently..
My hard disk has just been attacked by virus (i don't know what type of virus it was)
But i know it was because of virus since this is happened just after i copied some games from my friend's laptop..
1st - My task manager becomes DISABLED which is comes with the message :
"Task Manager is disabled by your administrator"
Then, i try to use combofix to solve this problem and willing to scan with Panda Security antivirus next.
Once i opened the combofix, suddenly the combofix disappeared.
Then, i tried to enter the SAFE MODE.. Just after that, it keeps rebooting Windows XP..
I thought of scanning the hard disk with the Panda Security on another pc, it has detected but didn't show at all!

Anybody could help me out?

Tqvm :)

Does the hard drive have any kind of encryption on it? If so you need to run it on the same platform OS or disable the encryption first before it can be seen on the other system. If there is no encryption try reading the drive on a system with the same file system i.i NTFS vs FAT. if it still does not read put it back in the system and try to boot up in safe mode and get the data off your profile.

good luck,

Hi Fred,

Thanks for your guidance..
I've already cleared the password on hard disk and boot..
Then i've scanned with Panda Security..
I've found almost 1500 viruses inside..
Already back up the partition to format with Windows XP Professional..
But, unfortunately the 'blue screen' appeared..
I thought it's because of my hard disk already corrupted! :(( :((
