hacktool.rootkit and trojan.gen problem.. need assistance

Specs: Windows 7
Hey guys, I am running windows vista x86 and just a day or two ago I picked up something nasty..

I had mcaffee, but it was expired, yet somehow still told me I had caught a trojan.. I looked in Hijack this, found nothing major, so I deleted mcaffee and installed a free trial of Norton 2012.

Ran that, it found nothing on a full scan.. Then I ran malware bytes in safemode, it found 3 trojans and removed them.. then I restarted, but the problems are still there..

Norton is constantly notifying me of threats and blocking them, and additionally, I keep getting this window error box that pop-up 3 at a time saying "host process for windows services has stoped working"...

the 3 to 4 file names or trojan names I'm seeing that norton keeps blocking are





Norton also identifies numbers before the trojan name like 8000032.@ and 8000000.@

Can I please get some assistance here, help is appreciated ahead of time.. thanks for your help???

My name is Prateek and I work for the Social Media and Community Team at Dell.
As mentioned your system is been infected by virus and in order to remove it you have bought a anti-spyware software and you are not able to install it .so these are a couple of steps which you can follow to fix the problem
1) Try to reboot the computer in safe mode and in order to do so you have to press F8 after pressing the start button.
2) You will get advanced boot option and you have to select Safe Mode with Networking, select that option and press enter.
3) After that open internet explorer and we have to install malware bytes that will help us in removing infected files , link is attached to install malware bytes anti-spyware software

4) After that try to install we have to install Hit man pro software that it’s also a good software to remove virus there is a shortcut for that http://bit.ly/NIFVb2 and after that we will install one more virus removal tool http://bit.ly/PFyVOb

5) After that we have to restart the computer back in the normal mode and then we have to run this software.
6) Let the scan complete and it will show you infected files and you will get a prompt to delete infected files , try to run both of them one by one ,
7) Once we are done with this then restart your computer ,I hope that will fix your issue

In response to issue this a virus issue..

Please perform these steps.

1. Boot your computer into safe mode with networking.
2. Click on the start button open run window and in the run window type this . http://download.bleepingcomputer.co...
3. After http://download.bleepingcomputer.co...
4. After these two scans please run……..Malware bytes and super anti spyware ……..scans from www.filehippo.com down load these programs and run these scans.
5 Run CC Cleaner
Since mcafee is expired you can down load microsoft security Essentials from micro soft Free Anti Virus program.

Please let us know the status.
