Reply: (edit)Please post a Hijack This log so that the files associated with the virus/spyware/hijacker can be identified. You can download Hijack This at this link http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/ then place it into a folder of it's on, such as C:\HJT, so that back up copies can be made and not clutter your desktop or other folders and the backup copies of deleted items can be easily located if needed. Once saved double click HijackThis.exe, and press "Scan". When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button. Press that, save the log, Ctrl-A to Select All, and copy its contents into the text editor at this forum. Do not fix anything yet unless you know what you are doing. This is a powerful tool that can crash the computer if used improperly.

Reply: (edit)Hello Everyone, This is my first time posting here but I have used this forum before for spyware/trojan removal. My system is infected with a trojan that McAfee 7.1.0 has interpreted a "Spywarestrike.dldr". The symptom matches a previous posting "h91746.exe cannot get rid of it" on Feb 28, 2006 and I am following some of the suggestions posted there to see if I can get rid of this annoyance virus. Just in case it doesn't work out, I am providing some info from my system to see if anyone has any additional suggestion that will help me to remove the virus. McAfee Virus Alert: "ld1d5a.tmp" (in fact there are many random generated *.tmp files) found in c:\Windows\system32\1024 that is being detected and deleted by McAfee. Reply: (edit)I'm also getting his h91746.exe error message. The same day with an a few minutes, an icon showed up at my bottom toolbar. It's a red flashing cirle with a line in it. and a flag keeps opening up that says Your computer is infected! click here to get all available software. When I click on it it opens spywarequake. I went to windows add/remove programs and when I click remove, it actually open the program and gives me a list of all the threats on my computer and to register their program. I did a Norton Spyware Search and it didn't come up with anything? For the first time after coming to this site and reading this post, I downloaded highjackthis this is my log, please help.
