My computer is suffering from the same problem as posted by one of your members.
Google search results redirects to some advertising websites that are not related to my search. The virus is undidected my all the spyware/malware programmes i have (uniblue spyeraser,Ad adware,spybot Sd,Mc Afee unti virus)
Please can you help, I have run hijackthis and is willing to post my log, please advise way forward from here:-

Download ComboFix from: http://www.forospyware.com/sUBs/Com... and follow the prompts. I know for sure that this tool is able to fix google redirect problem.

Thanks Seemed to have worked the first time.....Got rid of the redirect problem. Can you also advise on problem where, new search results are opened in a new tab and the sponsored links are displayed on the left hand side of browser (Firefox/google Chrome). This problem started about the same time as the redirect issue.... Thanks again
