Google Redirects & Pop Ups

January 7, 2010 at 16:42:45
Specs: Windows XP SP3
I actually got this twice from what I believe was from a torrent. It is much better now but the redirectes are a real pain. It happens after clicking on almost every single redirect. Redirects and pop ups are usually either fake scans saying I am infected and need to buy anit-virus software or a website for ranking other websites. Rarely I get a thing saying that my IE tab was forced to close and IE brought it back or something.

Below is a Hi Jack This log, hopefully that helps. If not, I can do whatever you guys want me to:

I wish this forum would allow you to post Hijack This logs without a request but for now it does not. It is against the forum rules to post Hijack This logs without a request from a helper. The post will get deleted by the moderator so there is no use in trying to help as it would be a waste of time. You might repost and maybe the moderator will be kind enough to only delete this thread ot the Hijack This log posted in this thread. We are just like you, we do not make the rules but we are suppose to follow them.

Ok, I wish that partucilar forum rule was posted somewhere or atleast an edit button for the op. I looked for the forum rules and couldn't find any (actually I did find some while typing this but didn't see any rules regarding this "offense"). Thought I would save some post exchanges by posting the log. My apoligies to this board, but a rules tacked thread or something would have been extremely helpful.
