I had a google redirect problem and after following several instructions in other posts, I have installed and run Malwarebyte and now it seems the problem is gone. The Malwarebyte detected and deleted the following registry key and two files. Registry Keys Infected: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\extravideo (Trojan.DNSChanger) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully. Files Infected: C:\Windows\System32\msqpdxkdpmxmhe.dll (Trojan.Agent) -> Delete on reboot. C:\Windows\System32\drivers\msqpdxbtrbvufq.sys (Trojan.Agent) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully. Could you advice me on how to look into the log file from HijackThai to ensure that my pc is completely clean? Thanks a lot.

That was only a first step in the removal process of the redirecting virus and is usually undetected by Hijack This. Once you get SDFix downloaded go offline and turn off your antivirus and any antispyware that you have, run SDFix from safe mode and restart the Antivirus before you get back on line to post the log. Download SDFix.exe and save it to your Desktop. Very Important! Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before performing a scan. Thank you very much. But I can't get SDfix.exe run on my pc (I'm using windows vista home premium). The command prompt just flashes up and goes away. What would you suggest me to do? I also wonder what types of trojan I got. Can I still use my pc for e-banking or e-shopping?
