Download it on other computer and transfer it via usb. Keep usb attached to infected computer when AVP tool is scanning. If I'm helping you and I don't reply within 24 hours send me a PM.

Hi again Sorry about the delay, start up problems getting worse, (blue screen crash when I plug in usb stick sometimes) I managed to transfer the virus scanner onto my ailing machine, but when I double clicked on the start icon, nothing happened. I attempted it in 'safe mode' but the screen froze whilst I was trying to find the folder icon
