I have gotten the google redirect virus and from what iv seen on other forums, it needs expert attention. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi allincubus6, You can go through lots of malware removals or you you can get it all done at once. Here are the Progs you can run: Malware Bytes Super-Anti Spyware Spybot S&D Combo-fix ( be real carefull with that one as it can really mess up your registry) Most of the time the redirect is caused by a rootkit. Lately I have started with the 30 day fully functional trials of Trojan Remover and Unhackme. I have found that they nip things in the bud quite fast. The choice is yours. If you use unhackme I would suggest using the Beginners guide on the left of their download page and go through all the tests with it untill your PC is clean. You can google anything you are unsure of. DON'T remove anything that you are unsure of. After your PC is clean, you can uninstall Trojan Remover and Unhackme.
