Google Redirect Virus Fix

Specs: Windows 7 Professional 64, Intel i5-520M / 4 GB PC3-8500 DDR3
My laptop was recently infected with a virus/malware. I did a restore to a prior date. I also ran Malwarebytes and MS Security Essentials, and all viruses were removed. But now my searches in IE are slow and I seem to get redirecting on search links. I I would like to know if there is something still running on my computer and how to remove it. Thanks for the help!

you could have an unwanted rootkit installed. Try these 3 progs in EXACTLY the order listed and don't boot until after the last scan. If that doesn't fix it...do the SAME in safe mode.
1- rkill.exe
http://www.technibble.com/rkill-rep...
2- tdss killer
http://support.kaspersky.com/faq/?q...
3- malwarebytes

and no....I don't work for Dell ....LOL

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions 7 Golds
