Specs: Windows XP Home Edition 2002 Service Pack 3
Hi
I have a google redirect problem. I have tried lots of anti-malware and spyware fixes, to no avail.
When I run TDSSKiller, it tells me that driver atapi is infected by TDSS rootkit and will be cured on next reboot, but it never is.

I am running Windows XP Home Edition 2002 Service Pack 3

Could you please help me to sort this problem out? It is making internet use very difficult!

Best wishes

David

Boot into safemode and try and scan with ComboFix and Hitman Pro. It should remove the root kit. Rootkits are verrrrrrry hard to remove with normal anti-virus software (because they're designed to go undetectable), so try using both those programs and let me know if you need more help: http://www.surfright.nl/en/downloads/ http://www.combofix.org/
