Hello. My computer has recently come across the Google Seach Redirect problem. I'm aware is was quite a problem for a while, and i'm not sure how much it is now. I attempted a few different ways to get rid of it, even tried to download Malwarebytes, but whatever is infecting this computer wont let me do it.

Something i've also noticed is two distinct processes being opened at random as well. IEXPLORER.exe and Skypenames.exe, and I do have both Internet Explorer and Skype, but I hardly use them. I'm not quite sure if they are similar to the google redirect issue, but I thought i'd bring it up.

I believe I should also note that I recently got rid of the "Malware Defense" program that was infecting my computer.

Can anyone help?

You're probably infected with the TDL3 rootkit.

Use Hitman Pro to detect and remove the infection:

It should find an infected driver. You can use the free license to remove the infection.
