when i run a search on google and click on a search result, it often redirects me to a random website. can anyone help? i tried typing ipconfig etc into run.
Sounds like you have a redirect virus. If you can, download and install Malwarebytes from http://www.malwarebytes.org/ . If you have to download and install it from a working machine. Best to download and install it to a jump drive, thus bypassing your own hard drive. Run it from the jump drive.
