Google Links Being Redirected to Random Ads

December 5, 2010 at 14:43:37
Specs: Windows 7
Google started acting weird earlier today and was redirecting me to some random ads and random sites on any link I clicked on after my search. Although if I search something and then click 'Cached' and then at the top click the original link, it takes me to the site I want to view, and that's what I've been doing to get around it lately. But now I'm afraid this may be harming my computer and so I was wonder if anyone can help me out here. Thanks.

Try scanning your computer with a legitimate anti-spyware program. Choose from malwarebytes antimalware or superantispyware. Both are free and does a great job at detecting and removing spyware. Download links Download, install and update before running a full system scan. If these programs can't find any infections try Kaspersky's TDSSKiller
Usually Google redirect virus comes along with TDSS rootkit.
