Hello, Not sure if this is the proper area to post but, I need a start. I am considering changing from dial-up to cable/modem. I understand that my PC will be on line "all the time". Can anyone direct me to a site that will offer information on hook-up, routers, pros & cons etc. Thanks, J

hi j, go to www.thepublicworks.com, security section and link to speedguide, dsl reports, and practically networked. also you will need info on firewalls, so link to firewall guide, firewall net, security dogs to name a few. all the best, murve
