spybot doesn't work anymore, it just tells me my problems and doesn't fix them because they want money. does anyone know a good free malware/virus/spyware remover?

ur right, what i had was spyware marauding as spybot. so i got avg and spybot now. can this clean my computer completely or do i need something else as well? DO THese take care of viruses/worms/malware/spyware all of em? also, why is a tracking cookie bad? thats just when i save my google preferences or something right?

MOST cookies are harmless, like the ones here that remember who you are. There is a cookie out in the wild called a "Data Miner". These need to be shot on sight!
