I am having trouble removing the Golden Palace Casino from my computer. It will not pop up on my Adaware or Spybot searches nor will it go away after I uninstall it. Do you have any suggestions on how to remove it?

Try AdAware v6 (updated of course) in the Custom Mode with all features enabled and see if it finds it that way. I assume you checked for an entry in the Add/Remove Programs list and for an entry in the Program Files folder for an Uninstall program.

Download HijackThis and run. Post the log it generates into your reply here.

Be sure to install HijackThis into it's own folder, not a temp folder. Don't fix anything yet. Someone will review the log and adivse you what to fix.

I have also been trying to get rid of Golden Palace Casino, and just when I think it's gone, its back again.

5. Be sure to wait for the final Delete message - you must click YES, then the software will be deleted from your index directory.

I tried to download Hijackthis because I also can't get this Golden Palace Casino to stop downloading on my computer and it said i was missing the file WSVBVM60.dll which I downloaded and still could not get the Hijackthis software to work. Somebody help me please!!

its embedded into the registry as well. under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run

mines called zzfty.exe or something long and wierd like that cant rememeber now, just delete that key.
