OK, I'm not sure if this is a virus but I picked this thing up from somewhere (might have been installed with a piece of software) and it has hijacked my browser. I'm surprised Norton Internet Security missed it. Now my homepage is http://www.globasearch.com even when I change it in both IE9 and Chrome, (it changes itself back). Online it said many different ways to remove it including deleting files from system32. Which is the right way?
Most redirections can fe easily fixed using this method. Run these free progs in EXACTLY the order listed and do NOT reboot until after the last scan
1- rkill.exe

2- tdss killer

3- malwarebytes

If still no joy, run

Thanks! I thought it wasn't going to work because the scan brought up one thing that was an addon for a game design software and I pressed ignore but when I rebooted all I had to do was set the homepage back and it stopped changing it back. Thank you so much for your quick response as well!
