I am trying to download this program from my motherbord supplier, at Download Center, http://download.gigabyte.com.tw/, it is a utility to check my motherboard for drivers to see if I have all the updated drivers, I tried putting this in windows firewall to allow but does not work, says it is unknown publisher, under xpsp1, I could allow it, by letting my firewall accept it, but, now I just have Windows firewall, and can't seem to get it to allow me to download to check my new motherboard with onboard stuff on it for updates?, my active x stuff is correct, when trying to download, windows say it will not let it? is there a way to get around this?

I ran their utility on mine and 4 out of 5, of the updates they listed as upgrades, were older than the drivers I already have installed.
I download manually from http://www.giga-byte.com/Tree/Tree_128.htm

except for the audio driver which I downloaded from the ac realtek website.

you might try their suggestion
Alternatively, you can put GIGABYTE website into the "Trusted Sites" zone. You can then enjoy the functionalities of Download Center and avoid the unwanted ActiveX control being executed.

and if thats no help.
