I'm trying to get rid of aurora. I can prevent the cookies but I am having trouble getting rid of two files: lxbfrftoplg.exe and nail.exe

I have tried deleting the files and they simply return. I have tried running three anti-virus softwares: webroot, spyware doctor, and the beta version of microsoft anti-virus. They will detect the adware that these two files seem to install but don't detect the .exe files. Is there anyway to remove them safely? Thanks for any help.

Try rebooting your pc in safe mode by pressing f8 in the loading screen on your pc and scanning with ad-aware and whatever anti-virus program you have.
