I just got over the AIM profile virus but I got a lot of trojans and things with it. I ran spybot and adaware and they say everything is clear but every time I start my comp, my Homepage gets changed and things get added to my Favorites automatically. I went to msconfig and disabled Startup Group items from running and it stopped. Under the startup tab, there is something called Pornkings Download Plus as a startup group. How do I delete this?

Hi I recently found something in my PROFILE that said something to the effect of "I can't believe I found (screen name's) picture here" and of course I looked and it automatically changed my profile. I turned my computer off and then back on to clear it out and it was still there. I went ahead and changed my AIM screen name and when I tried to copy and paste it to one of my friends to make sure they didn't click on it if they got it, it changed mine and theirs. Is there any way to retrieve the lost profiles or do I have to change my screen name again?

breakfast club, im pretty sure your old profiles are lost. I think you have to just run an antivirus to get rid of the virus and then make another profile.

cwshredder did not, and isn't designed, to remove pornkings download plus. I am having the same problem with pornkings download plus being in the startup menu but, when I uncheck it, pornkings download plus is highlighted and the "OK"button is disabled, preventing its being deactivated. Does anyone have a solution for this dilemma

Does it not say where the file associated with that group is in msconfig? It should say at least the exe, then you can search and destroy. Another option is to dowload process explorer from sysinternals.com, then use that to figure out what process the porn kings is running, and look at that process info to find more info on the process. If you can't figure out which process it is, try disabling all startup, then looking at processes, maybe save screenshot. Then enable only the porn king in msconfig, reboot, and see what new proci are running. You can email me if you take out NO and SP4M Good luck Anthony
