Yesterday my mozilla and IE browser began behaving oddly. The response time became very slow - like 56k and anything I entered - like searches or logins - led to the browser freezing. I was able to access anything that needed just a click on a link.
I still cannot search anything on google or any other search engine.
Today I am accessing this site from work. I think I have a virus which has hijacked my computer. What do I need to do?

There are some really great free cleaners listed in the link of my signature.
I would suggest you start there and run those first to help clean up your PC. Then if you still have probs post back, Thanks
You may also wanna do a free online scan here:

Thanks for the tip XpUser4Real. Unfortunately although xscan did pick up something - not enough to sort out the problem. Basically this spyware/virus is not letting me access yahoo or use google at all. I am able to use MSN for searching and email.
Any further suggestions?

Did you try the free cleaners listed?
Also you may want to try D/L Avast free and have it do a bootscan on reboot. Remove all it finds. Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers

Thanks XpUser4Real the Super Antispyware did the trick, although it still picks up trojans on my computer whenever I run a scan!
At least i can check my yahoo mail and carry out searches on google now!

Glad to hear it helped you!
