Comment:

when i did a portscan on my dsl modem interface with the advanced port scanner i got from www.radmin.com, i only found that port 21 25 and 110 is open out of all 65535 ports, which is very weird. weird because:
- i am not running any sort of servers in my pc except for apache(port:80) and mysql(port:3306). these are not showing.
- and what about other softwares i am running? like MSN messenger and emule? the port scan is not even showing that!

and interestingly, when i do "netstat -no" or "netstat -na" these ports(21, 25 and 110) don't seem to be open....

any idea about what might be going on? thanks in adavance!

is that a typo?
Do a netstat -an
see what you got... GOOGLE the port numbers to find out what they are.

Go to SHEILDS Up.. to test your ports...
