Hi! i noticed that whenever i play mp3's at windows media player after sometime it gets an error telling that an error has occured and asking if its the first time you see this message.. it happens more often so i tried to scan my computer using NAV(Full System Scan)but there is also a problem saying "Norton was unable to scan your computer for infections because a critical error occured during the scan.
3019,1" I went to symantec site and followed all there instructions for this problem to remove all temporary files, scanned my computer with scandisk, i scanned each folders for viruses to determine what file has a problem and what folder but found nothing and no error occured.. problem is i cant scan my pc using full system scan it always gets either an error " Norton unable to scan...and so on" or it will just restart. pls help

thanks

Open My Computer and select Properties, then System Restore and turn it off. Then restart the computer and enter the safe mode(By tapping or holding down the F8 key), select adminstator and the run Norton while in the safe mode. After the scan restart and run another Norton scan just to make sure things are clean. If it is, you can turn system restore back on. If you have a hard drive 40G or larger I would select 5% using the slider, instead of the default setting to save drive spave. HTH
