hi lesley, i had problems also so what i did was uninstalled it.. reinstalled it and selected custom.then i unchecked the email scanner option.seems to be a problem with that option since i reinstalled without the email scanner avg 7 has been running very well and uses about 12 mb of memory less. keltik

Your link in #3 seems to go to the download of the new AVG7 which is the package the poster was complaining about.
