Reply: (edit)Yes, many people use AVG and I have put it on quite a few people's PCs, but only because they refuse to pay for anti-virus protection, which I think is a mistake. AVAST is also well used, but I would suggest a paid scanner like NORTON, mainly due to it's expansive database and ease of use and its full support and timely updates and custom features. A FREE AV scanner is NOT bad, but I think that AV protection is important enough to spend a few dollars on.
