I tried to download Spywareblaster last night from the first link on the main page for it at Webattack (that being where my browser was directed after a search for a direct site). But it seems to have shattered on impact; split up to freaky places I've never had a download go to before (mostly temp internet & content IE5), which was not at all the path my download manager [Stardownloader] had given, and also under a different name and many separate files. Had to use 'Find' set to text search to round up the part locations).
THEN! When I found the setup file and clicked on it -- or any other of its files -- my system either says "illegal operation," "possibly unsafe," or "denied, not allowed by system."!! I have nothing set to shatter downloads, unless by chance some people need to disable their antivirus before download or something? I’d think that would’ve been mentioned, as all my related apps are very common and standard (SpyBot, AVG free antivirus, BHODemon, Zone Alarm) and the forums at Wilders. org (creator site) said there are no conflicts with any related software types. Rest of my software is strictly routine, garden variety.
I am scared! Should I just get it the heck off of me, if I can even be sure I found it all? And how do I know this won’t happen again on retry? I don’t want to even try until I know what happened. No response to my question sent to Wilders yet, and the site wasn’t working for me to register and post. THANKS!!

hello
i use spyware blaster and like it it works well.you may have anther problem like a virus on your system a rat(remote acess trojin)or some other program conflicting with your d/l manager.
most programs use tem files well installing.
as they are useally d/led in compressed for mat.and the windows program installer allso uses temp files. do online scan at panda or housecall antivirus.

some sites don't work well with download managers, disable it and, or try a different mirror site.
or some download managers don't work well with some sites.

There is a possibility that the software you downloaded got corrupt on download. Some spyware, pop-up stoppers etc. integrate with Internet Explorer and other apps to prevent spyware accessing them. To me, having the spyware blasting software in IE directory or temp internet files doesnt sound unlikely. Check you system out with a reputable virus scanner though, just in case.
