Comment: Recently I have set up a new identity on Microsoft Outlookexpress 5 so I could have my own e-mail address. Unfortunately, I have forgotten my password and now I cannot access my new messages. Is there a way to overide my old password to access my file?

Reply: The password for OE will be same as the password for @hotmail.com or @msn.com. It wont download the emails unless the correct password is give. I am not sure if you are talking about OE user password. In that case I cant be of much help.

Reply: On your hd there is a file with the extention .pwl This file contains the passwords, if you remove it, you will be asked to enter your password again if you access that particular program.

Reply: I have recently loaded on W2K Pro, but didnt give a thought on my stored passwords in the W98 PWL file. Does anyone know of a W2K piece of software (preferably Free/Shareware) that can read and unencrypt the PWL file. Many thanks for any help?
