I am able to get online with my laptop but I now have a new i1 phone and I need the password for wifi connection which I cannot remember. Is there a way I can get my password or maybe change it? I really would like to keep the orginal password if possible. I made my wireless connection secure when I set it up and I can get online on my laptop without having to enter my password but any additional pc require secured password. Please can you help?
I'm not certain, but I do believe that, under the Wireless connection pane in your laptop, there should be somewhere where you can see the password. There might also be a check-box to display it in plain text. If not, I'm afraid the only thing that you can do is re-install the firmware on the router, and make a new password. BTW, why do you want to keep the password that you can't remember?
if you forgot the password then reset the router. There is a reset button on the router. When you reset it you can then login to the router control panel with the default admin/pass and reset a new password. Check your routers' manual on how to do it.
