Hi there. Dumb question: I forgot my windows administrator password, now I can only log in as guest. How can I reset the admin password?

Did you lose the account password or the actual Admin password? If you just lost the account password, then tap F8 right as you turn your computer on and go into safe mode. There, log into the Admin account (If you didn't set a password when you installed) and change your account's password through Control Panel and Users.

Just a thought. If it's a personal home computer and you insist on a password....whats wrong with your given name Tom, Mary, Bill ect.
If at work....your ss # or street address
If you forget any of the above passwords,,, give it a day and you will forget that you forgot... LOL
