So after watching a few movies, reading a few things on the net and having completed a Cert 3 computer course I am still no where near how i am to do this.

I wanna know when im being hack.
but its not just that, what programs or website and downloading data to my computer that are not my programs. I have a program that tells me MY programs that use the net (or network).

I read that Hackers need a bit more then ur IP address which is easily found out. Check me if im wrong but dont they also need like ports? I read this... "Ports 135, 139, and 445 can be especially vulnerable to attack."
I went to a website ( that told whether the computers ports were safe. And before is went proceed, this is what they said..."Many Internet connection IP addresses are associated with a DNS machine name. (But yours is not.) " What is it and what can i do about it?

I wanna know how hackers can get into my computers so i can ether see what they are doing and need be, stop them. any websites or info would be great.
