I am new to windwos vista. I have intalled zonealarm firewall (free version), but then my computer didn't work properly. When I have uninstalled it, it works properly again. But someone told me that vista firewall isn't good enough. Where can I get a free version of firewall which works well with Vista?? Thank you.

I don't use Vista but I did install Comodo 3.8 on a Vista machine and it still had some issues. In particular Windoze update would not function unless the firewall was disabled. hth It's the trees moving that makes the wind blow

so which firewall can go well with vista?

On my Vista machine I use Vista's firewall and a router and have had no problems in about 2 years , but that's a desktop , if it were a laptop then maybe Comodo . Comodo seems to like Win7 right enough .

Three people have said to me how pleased they were with PC-Tools firewall , for both Vista and Win 7 .
