Hi there,

I'm having trouble with Windows XP Firewall, I had to restart my computer earlier today and the firewall popped up (it hasn't shown up for a long ass time because it's not on or anything) anyway...for some strange reason it's switched itself back on, and all the options to turn it off are greyed out, I've tried logging in as Administrator thinking maybe that'd help me to change it but nope, I also looked through the Group Policy editor as I was told that might help me but nope everything is set correctly, I don't necessarily mind the firewall being on, but ever since it's been turned on a computer that's networked to me can't access the internet, pinging works fine, they can browse my computer and access files and vice versa, but nothing internet related will work, and I find it funny that the two problems have come at the same time, I've tried doing a spyware scan which turned up the regular old crap but I got rid of that and it still hasn't made a different, is there anymore advice I can be given??

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Johnw, but as already stated in my question I have tried it as Administrator and I still get everything greyed out.
