I have an external hardrive (seagate) that I keep music and games on Then past couple days my files and folders have been disappearing . They seem to be still there just not able to see or use them. I can play songs that were in the folders just fine but I cant find them I click on properties and it says song is still in that location. more and more files disappear everyday. Is this some virus or is my hardrive crashing?

could be any thing. I'd start by scanning for viruses using Avast or something similar. scan both drives, using a thorough scan. Avast will make it clear if there's a virus found (trust me) and if there isn't a virus found, reformat the drive. best i can say, or buy a new one ^^

I'm here to help as best I can...
