When my computer starts up or when I am using IE, I have recently begun to get this message (blue screen):

"A fatal exception OE has occurred at 0028:C1715F52 in VXD RIPTIDE(01) + 0002CBE2. The current application will be terminated."

Does anyone know what this means? Does it have something to do with any virus?

I have done a check with Spybot, Ad-aware, AVG, and Symantec Anti-virus and nothing shows up.

The last thing I did before this started was get some update from Realplayer for a mp3 file so that I could record the music CDs on my PC.

I have tried uninstalling realplayer and reinstalling, but I still have the same problem.

TIA,

JPQ
