Hello, I am receiving a fake security alert that tries to get me to download personal defender. The exact security alert states: Name: Sinowal.Trojan Description: Sinowal.trojan is a trojan program that records keystrokes and takes screen shots of the computer, stealing personal financial information. If you hit "enable protection" it leads you to a "Personal Defender" website. I did NOT download this. I've run my anti-virus scanner, as well as spybot and malwarebytes anti-malware. Everything appears to be cleaned up, but I'm still getting these alerts. I read a similar cleanup solution by jabuck. I have a copy of the Hijack this log and was wondering if someone could lead me through cleaning this up, as I'm not sure what to do at this point. Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

I'll post log in next message...

I wish this forum would allow you to post Hijack This logs with a request but for now it does not.

This post will be deleted by the moderator because you cannot post a Hijack This log on this forum without being requested to by a helper.

After this thread is deleted start a new thread and state only the problem, no logs please.
