I have recently received an email from Admin@Microsoft.com, of which the contents I could not quite remember, since I had a rather long day. But there was a file which I was sure was a picture (jpeg or something) when I saw it (since wondered why it did not come up on the email as they usually do). With braining not functioning I downloaded the file and opened it, when nothing happened. But later on when I went offline the dial-up dialog just came up by itself and I couldn't get rid of it until I ended something from Ctrl+Alt+Del. I know it's definately something to do with that file but since I stupidly deleted the file after it not functioning, I now have no idea what to do. This is now happening everytime I turn on the computer, and I can't remember which program I got rid of...

Help!!!

It is the PALYH virus. Try updating your virus definitions and run a scan, most antivirus companies have updates and warning for this. I think BitDefender might have a removal tool at their website to remove it for you if your software cannot do the job.
