.exe missing?

Hi all,
Just started my pc to find that all my .exe files don't work and my SPOOL.exe file is missing.
Even when I go to the files directory and double click it is says the file is missing.
ANy help?

As far as the spool.exe file did you do a search for files or folders to see if that file actually exists on your hard drive?

Yes, the files exisit, but even when I click them they say the files do not exist. It's as if the virus has setup a redirect or a default message blocking me from using the program.

I think that .ini file worked as I can run Norton Anti virus (I which I will be resubcribing to and updating as much as possible) but I was running a virus check with "Stop-Sign Threat Scanner" so that might have also fixed the problem.

Kemik, The Fixswen.inf file is what corrected your file association problems and I agree 100% with Abnormal. Stay away from the "Stop-Sign Threat Scanner" and get rid of it. It's bad news.
