Dear Group: I have Evidence Eliminator installed for about several weeks and have had no problems until yesterday. I got an "Evidence Eliminator is locked due to corruption" error message. Details: I was in an "alt. music" newsgroup and I try to avoid suspicious looking posts. Yesterday I was looking for replies and other useful music posts and saw one with an "11 line" post and a "5000+ line" reply post to the original "11 line" post. I did not have the message subjects expanded so I did not see this "5000+ line" post until it was too late. If I had expanded the subjects I would have deleted both the "11 line" and "5000+ line" posts. I took a look at the "11 line" post and then the 5000+ line post. In the message for the 5000+ line" post of my news browser I saw something I have never seen. When I clicked the subject and looked in the message window I saw a long row of about 4000-5000 lines of meaninless letters. EX: gkriofjgfdi gkreodldh xaowkedf wodkssge fqoeifjrws etc. etc. Does this make any sense to any of you? Could this be why I get the above EE error message? Thanks for any assistance. wayne
