Hello,

I've gotten viruses such as Zedo, Web-Buying, and Virtumonde. They were all removed (completely, I think) by programs such as Spybot, Ad Aware, and XoftSpy. There might be remnants of these viruses, but my current problem is much worse, and undetectable by these programs.

Basically, it is the problem described in the following thread found here:
http://computing.net/cgi-bin/printe...

I get warning window popups, as well as systray balloons, with warnings such as:

Your computer might be at risk.
-latest software updates not installed
-incorrect files association
-system appears to hang
-virtual mempry has errors
Click this balloon to fix problem

or

Windows performed illegal operation. Your system files could have critical errors. It could cause unpredictable or erratic behavior, freezes, and crashes. Fixing these errors can increase your computers performance and prevent data your personal data loss.
Would you like to open system troubleshooting center to fix the problem? (recommended)

or

error loading c:\Windows\system32\emxtsbjd.dll

And, just as described by the other person in the tread listed above, there is a huge list of unexplained files in My Documents folder begining with "POS" followed by a short 3-4 alphanumeric code.
