Hey every1,

can any1 help me? i need help with a couple of problems :s

firstly i cant use any services on msn. whenever i click any of the side tabs on msn or i try and play a game etc., it looks like its loading, and then it cums up with "msnmsgr.exe had a page error in msvcrt.dll" (or something along those lines) and closes msn messenger. I have registry mechanic, zonealarm, norton antivirus, spyware doctor, startup watchdog and adware away. i have searched for virus, spyware, adware etc., though i havnt been able to stop the problem :s...

secondly, i have a problem with printing. my printer always prints things smaller than on the screen. it messes with borders, and occasionally centers the text on the page when it prints. i look at page set up, and the printing is set to Letter size. so i change it A4, but it still has the same problem...

Thirdly, my internet explorer keeps closing on me. it finds and error, and closes it, and occasionally it restarts the internet automatically for me.

fourthly, when i shut down my computer it comes up with a blue screen and says it has found an error, and i press enter, and the screen just goes black, and the computer does not turn off.

finally, if i have more than four windows open on msn messenger, it starts to mess up in wierd ways. icons, and pictures that are normally there dissapear. the menu at the top of the message window simply vanishes. i would put it down to a lack of RAM, though these windows dont exactly take up much space, and i didnt used to have this problem.

As you can see i have alot of problems :( and i rele need sum help! so if any1 could give me some advice i would really appreciate it

Thanks alot :)

Adam

Thank you, though it didnt seem to work. that link was for XP, and when i tried putting in my recovery disk and pressing 'r' it didnt do anything. though when i had the disk in i decided to 'refresh' the computer (not restore) and it didnt make any improvments...
