Microsoft Windows xp professional w/serv...
February 28, 2010 at 04:25:02
Specs: Windows XP
Cannot install an Adobe Acrobat reader as I get an error 1321.
Since I tryed to install this software, now I also get an error message: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permission to access the item"
This error appears everytime I try to open a HTLM document.
Is there a solution to this problem???

Thank You for your assistance.

George.

Hi

It might be an idea to do a System Restore to a point before you tried to install Acrobat Reader and see if that solves the error's.

If you find you cant install Acrobat Reader there is a good free alternative called Foxit Reader Link
I find it just as good.
