I'm running a pc with xp pro using FAT32 so I don't have the security features of NTFS. I'd like to be able to encrypt folders, no 128 bit necessary, just something that works well with a passphrase and is compatible with XP (and preferrably is free). Thanks for all suggestions.
I just recently started using ABI COder and it is very nice. Veyr easy and secure. Can use it and learn as you go, it's that simple. Also, download the Key Manager, as it will be the place to store your keys (password to each document you encrypt) I've told 3 others about it since and they also are using it now. The best part is that in email, the receiver does that need the software to decrypt, just the key .

Tried both Abicoder and moosesoft. From what I can tell neither can encrypt entire folders of documents which is what I need it to do. Also I'd like the ability to simply right click on a file or folder to get the encrypt/decrypt option, which Abicoder doesn't have but Moosesoft does. Too bad Moosesoft doesn't do whole folders or it'd be perfect.
On the main interface page for ABI coder it clearly has a function to encrypt ALL FILES IN FOLDER, listed just under the password area on LEFT, upper side of page.
